Personal Finance Round Up, Mentions and Carnivals #36

personal financePersonal Finance Round Up

The following are some of my favorite posts from around the personal finance blogosphere this week. Make sure to check them out if you’re looking for some great reading material.

Add Vodka updates her Dining Out Challenege progress. I think a dining out challenge (a challenge to not dine out… not to actually dine out more) is a great thing to do if you dine out at restaurants often.

Life and My Finances recalls his decision making process when he turned down a $90,000 job offer. An interesting read for sure!

One Smart Dollar asks Does Downsizing Really Save You Money? Definitely some food for thought.

20′s Finances says that It’s OK to Not Go to College. I do think there are circumstances where this is true, you just have to make sure you have a plan!

Funancials asks Where Will You Be When the Bond Bubble Bursts? I hope nowhere near bonds! I agree that it is inevitable… when interest rates rise it is going to get ugly for bonds.
