Random Thoughts, Personal Finance Round Up and Carnivals #33

Random Thoughts

I normally try to avoid talking about blogging here but I promised I’d talk about a project I have been involved in lately. Over the last few weeks I have been involved in the Bloggers Helping Bloggers project. It essentially is a blogger mentorship program and I was being mentored by Eric from Narrow Bridge Finance.

Overall I really enjoyed the program and learned a lot from Eric. If you’re a blogger I highly suggest you check the program out and apply to be in the next round starting January. This was just the first run and I only see it getting even better going forward. In this next round I hear J Money from Budgets are Sexy will be involved as well! I’m excited!

Personal Finance Round Up

This week I thought I’d share a few newer blogs that I’ve come across lately. Be sure to check them out if you’re looking for another blog to read!

Steward Your Money - A great new blog! He’s been following me in his 6 bloggers 30 days series and also has some great potential!

Free at 33 - Derek wants to be free by 33… I think he has the skills to get it done too!

7 Minute Entrepreneur - Joe wants to help you think link an entrepreneur and teaches skills like negotiation. He recently guest posted so you’ve already seen a bit of his work!

Oh yeah… if you like free money make sure to check out Modest Monday’s cash giveaway! It’s free to enter :)

Carnivals

Below are the carnivals I was included in this week. If you’re looking for even more reading there are a ton of posts in these carnivals.

Financial Carnival for Young Adults included my post Massive Cash Back – Blue Cash Everyday® and Preferred® by American Express.

Yakezie Carnival, Festival of Frugality, Carnival of Retirement and Lifestyle Carnival included my post 2013 401(k), IRA and Retirement Plan Contribution Limits
